Shocked celebrities share their love for Chris Cornell, after hearing of his death last night at the age of 52.The music community and millions of fans were shocked this morning to hear of the passing of lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave, Chris Cornell.
Cornell was currently on tour with Soundgarden and played a show with them last night in Detroit before allegedly taking his own life. The seemingly happy rocker even tweeted this picture before what would be his final show, glad to be back in “Rock City.”

His death leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family, fans, and friends. Rock legend and founder of Led Zepplin, Jimmy Page tweeted this Thursday morning after hearing the news of Cornell’s passing.

Eerily, the last song of Soundgarden’s set last night was a cover of Led Zepplin’s “In My Time Of Dying.” His life and songs touched the hearts of many other artists who took to social media to mourn their friend.
