Ever since she hit the scene with her chart-topping debut single, “Not My Daddy,” emerging Californian pop artist, Eva, has been blessed to work alongside such big name recording artists as Nas, Snoop Dogg, and Gucci Mane, to name a few.
Now, with the help of America’s Next Top Model judge/photographer, Nigel Barker, and a slew of new material, the California songstress returns with a powerful new music video for her latest single, “Bad for Us.”
“I think it’s kind of a fun, catchy beat. We’ve gotten a ton of great feedback. People tend to really enjoy the song and it can kind of get stuck in your head… which is a good thing,” Eva told Salute Magazine in a recent interview.
Eva describes her latest work as a “break-up” song about a toxic relationship, a relatable subject for many of us have gone through similar heartache… knowing that it was probably not the best idea, but felt unable to resist.
“I think everyone’s kind of gone through something like that,” Eva said. “Whether it be any type of relationship with anyone; a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, or anything else in life, you know, people that have certain vices.”
