For all of the Potter Heads out there, we no longer have to wait for a title for the next installment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise.
If you are a follower of the great wizard Newt Scamander, you will be pleased to know there is a sneak peek and a release date for the next installment of the spinoff Harry Potter prequel series, Fantastic Beasts. It was released on social media today that the newest installment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise will be called Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald which will be released on November 16, 2018.
In The Crimes of Grindelwald, we get a closer look at some very intriguing characters, of course, we learn more about the movie’s namesake Grindelwald played by none other than Johnny Depp. But, we also get a look at one of the most beloved wizards of the books as a younger man, Albus Dumbledore played by Jude Law.
As you can see in the photo below via Instagram, the cast has grown from the last movie. Ezra Miller who also plays The Flash in the new Justice League movie will be back for the second movie along with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Allison Sudol, Dan Fogler, and Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange.
Although this is just the tiniest snippet of what is to come, we can’t say we aren’t stoked, especially since Warner Bros. posted a sneak peek of both of Dumbledore’s wands to Instagram.
November 16, 2018, have your wands at the ready!
