Heltah Skeltah’s Rock Returns With “FaxMachine” featuring M.O.P.

Rockness Monster Returns With New Single

untitledJahmal Bush, better known as “Rock” of the Brooklyn hip-hop duo Heltah Skeltah, tells it like it is with his latest single, “FaxMachine” featuring M.O.P., from his 2017 solo album Rockness A.P.

The 44-year-old Brownsville rapper formed Heltah Skeltah with the late-Sean Price, a.k.a. “Ruck,” in 1994, when they debuted on the Smif-N-Wessun album, Dah Shinin’. After signing with Duck Down Records they went on to join Buckshot, Smif-N-Wessun, and O.G.C. to form the hardcore hip-hop supergroup Boot Camp Clik.

Tragically, Price died in his sleep on Aug. 8, 2015, at the age of 45. He also left behind recordings which were used to make the 2017 posthumous album, Imperius Rex, which was released by Duck Down Records on the two-year anniversary of his death. A month later, Rock released his debut solo album, Rockness A.P.—short for “After Price,” in memory of his departed cohort.

Billy Danze and Lil’ Fame of the rap duo M.O.P. join Rock on the single “FaxMachine,” produced by Ford Tuff and Pascal Zumaque.
