Hermès Spring 2018 Collection Features Plaid and Bold Colors

The fashion house known for their years long waiting lists and status symbol handbags unveiled their Spring 2018 Ready to Wear Collection on the last day of Paris Fashion Week.

Hermès featured various plaid pieces, returning to their roots of equestrian excellence and inspiration.

Remember that Burberry poncho that everyone was obsessed with? I think we just found its new replacement. This green, orange, and gray plaid cape paired with green suede shorts is the perfect fall piece.

Head to toe plaid neutrals in a way that only Hermès could accomplish. The white and nude two-toned leather belt echoes the reversible leather “H” belts that Hermès has become famous for.

This purple suede ensemble took monochromatic to new heights. Also, these closed-toe heels seem to be Hermès’ new shoe of the moment. Every model traipsed down the runway wearing these boxy, cut out heels.

Pant suits are boring. Muted plaid suits with yellow heels are anything but. We also couldn’t help but notice the stunning square, structured purse the model was flaunting.

Hermès closed the show with a series of oversized, caftan inspired pieces. The first was baggy pants paired with a collared blouse in a rich, bold magenta hue. The second picture and last ensemble of the collection was a cream and nude maxi dress with side slits.

Hermès’ Spring 2018 Collection encapsulated their classic, polished style that made them such a powerful name in fashion as well as their love for spontaneous, vibrant color and pattern.
