Jason Pierre-Paul is staying with the New York Giants for another year. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport broke the news on twitter.
The #Giants are expected to keep Jason Pierre-Paul, source said. It's a 1-year deal. He turned down more money elsewhere.

Jason Pierre-Paul was not himself last year, he only recorded one sack in eight games. JPP believed that he could be the same player he once was after he blew off his index finger at a fireworks incident on the 4th of July.
Apparently other teams thought he could revive his career as well. According to Adam Schefter, it was the Arizona Cardinals who almost snagged Jason Pierre-Paul away from the Giants.
Giants and JPP reach agreement on a 1-year deal, as @RapSheet reported. JPP's deal worth up to $10.5 million. Arizona made late push for him

Giants fans should be pleased with the fact that JPP decided to stick with the team that gave him another chance and turned down more money to stay in New York.
Jason Pierre-Paul has another opportunity to turn things around and as time goes on. He may be able to improve as he finds ways to work around having four fingers.
JPP still has a lot to prove going into the 2016 season and Giants fans will hope he can return to his days of dominance.
