JoJo hits the scene once again after a 10 year hiatus. Even though she had record label issues in the past, she’s moved beyond it. For the past few months, JoJo has been on tour in Europe, promoting her newest album, ‘Mad Love.’
During a recent Vibe Magazine interview, the songstress talks openly about her new album.
She stated, “The idea behind Mad Love is kind of my relationship with music.”
The “Get Out” artist is not a 13 year old little girl anymore. She’s an adult now, and that’s something she vocalizes in her music. Her sound and music content are more mature and risque than before.
Last year, JoJo showed us her adult side, with the new songs she’s created. Her hit song, “I Can Only,” featuring Alessia Cara, made a bold statement. JoJo sings about being able to do whatever she wants. She can drink what she wants, love who she wants and nobody can stop her. She can only be who she is; take it or leave it. JoJo is doing things her way, which is empowering. See it below.
She recently collaborated with rap-queen Remy Ma on their song “F.A.B.” In this track, the duo mentions how people smile in your face and turn out to be fake. These ladies are holding no punches when it comes to this song! Check it out below.
Label-mate, Wiz Khalifa is also featured on her song “F**k Apologies.” JoJo sings about not apologizing to anyone, for anything. According to Wiz, “I do what I want, and JoJo does too.” Listen to it now.
JoJo has been making her name ring bells again with her Mad Love album.
Her long-awaited tour has finally hit the United States, beginning in the west coast.
