Producer Calvin Harris has made a damn good living off of making people celebrate and dance. That tradition is bound to continue with his latest album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.
The third offering from the collection which is due on June 30 is the Khalid and Future cut “Rollin.”
Ripe with acoustic strums, throwback 70’s groove, organs and lush vocals, “Rollin” will serve as the post-lake/beach sunset anthem of this year.
Following in the footsteps of “Slide” and “Heatstroke,” “Rollin” doesn’t skimp on the heavyweight talent and the infectious hooks.

Not everyone is a fan of the chokehold that Harris is placing on the mainstream. His musical peer and visionary Deadmau5 took to Twitter to share his feelings about Harris’ collaborative approach.
There’s more than enough room for everyone to shine. Both artists are both dope but the reaction from some in the dance world is an example of how purists feel in every genre when influencers grow beyond the boundaries of their core audience.
What’s been heard so far from Harris’ project feels inspired and that is the only thing that should matter. Roll out.
