Last Sunday’s episode of Bravo‘s Real Housewives of Atlanta showcased what happens when ATL girls infiltrate San Francisco. The ladies took a trip to the bay area but so far nothing has been peaches and cream.
Almost half of the group aren’t fans of Porsha Williams. Kandi Burruss is still mad from last season’s “rape and sex dungeon” fiasco, while NeNe Leakes and Porsha haven’t been on the same page for a while. Kenya Moore has never hidden her feelings about Ms. Williams and uses every opportunity available to mock her. However, despite her prior history with Porsha, she later decides to give her some advice.
During the trip, the girls plan a surprise wedding for Kenya in the hotel conference room. Organized by Marlo Hampton and Sheree Whitfield, the wedding is supposed to make up for the fact that none of the ladies were invited to the secret island wedding.
After the initial ceremony, Porsha approached Kanid to apologize for her part in Phaedra Park‘s lies. Of course, Kandi takes it with a grain of salt. More importantly, she expresses that she can be cordial with Porsha but things will never be even close to the way that they used to be.
Aside from the Kandi and Porsha drama, another big issue is the fact that Cynthia Bailey feels uncomfortable around the subject of Kenya and her marriage. Mostly because she considers herself one of Kenya’s closest friends and even she was kept in the dark about the wedding. Like everyone else, Cynthia found out about Kenya and Marc Daly from the blogs. She hasn’t even met Marc.
Also, Cynthia is looking pretty stupid constantly defending Kenya with no information at her disposal. She herself even expresses that it would be nice to know what to say when the other girls attack Kenya’s marriage. It would also be nice to know if the marriage is actually real. But that’s a topic for another time.
