Salute Magazine: The Best of 2015 Lists

The DNA of Salute Magazine is as diverse as one can imagine. And while we all have certain things in common, there are the little idiosyncrasies that make our brand what it is.

This best of 2015 process is not definitive by any means.  It moves and breathes at its own pace with each individual selection as our editors and writers were allowed to say what they wanted to say.

There was no predetermined pool of artists and titles to choose from.

Certain artists killed the process which emphatically is a testament to the fact that true artistry escapes color, gender and age constraints to reveal its true power.

But as you will see, each of us may say the same thing but in our own way. To some Rhonda Rousey got defeated and to others she got knocked the fuck out; it is what it is.

But it’s those perspectives that we salute and we look forward to reshaping them again next year.

Enjoy 2016…

Statement: 2015 was such a colorful year that it was very hard to pull the trigger on decisions. A lot of powerful art and moments stand out to me as a person but my choices are based off of what created memories for me that will carry on for some time.
