Kanye West might be all secretive about his new album release date, but he’s so fly on stage that he’s taking adidas to the top in fashion on Instagram.
Stylophane, the online marketing and management company, puts adidas in the top five fashion brands on Instagram with over 431k new followers this month.
With the launch of his new footwear, the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost at New York Fashion Week in February, West has been seen rocking the Boost line of sneakers everywhere he goes and adidas is posting it all.

In the April issue of Paper Magazine West told Gabby Bess, “Right now, over 70 percent of my focus is on apparel. I haven’t even given my “College Dropout” of clothing yet. We’re still on mixtapes.” With that being said this new line of celebrity fashion is sure to go triple platinum just like his debut album.
At a whopping $1000 per pair, the Yeezy 750 Boost gave adidas stockholders a much needed “boost” this year but the stock has been on a rollercoaster ride since the release of the new line of shoes.
Could the release of Kanye’s new album bring the stock back up the way Run DMC did for the popular shoe brand back in the 1986?
Almost 30 years ago the popular hip hop group Run DMC (Darryl McDaniels, Joseph Simmons & now deceased Jason Mizell) where the first entertainers to merge art and sports when they wrote the song “My Adidas” and held up the shoes at a concert of 40, 000 fans. The age of the non-athletic footwear began and endorsement dollars started to roll in for all artists who promoted fashion brands.
Can Kanye keep this $10 million fashion money train rolling and adidas stockholders happy? Only time will tell.
