Rihanna and Christian Dior Topple Tokyo

Rihanna and Christian Dior brought Dior’s Fall 2015-2016 cruise collection to Tokyo as the Grammy award winner represented the brand in fine form.

The pride of Roc Nation let the flashes fly as she posed from the catwalk to the after party at the National Art Center in Tokyo making this year’s show a huge hit.

Rihanna made Elle magazine’s best dressed list this week as she rocked a black denim Dior dress, ankle booties and beautiful metallic bag.

It seems Rihanna is doing the famed French fashion house proud as the first black woman to represent the brand in its 70 year history, as she became the new face of “J’adore Dior” in March of this year.

Founded in 1946, Dior added more diversity to his clothing line and the fashion industry overall by putting this Caribbean queen in the history books for life.

Scarlett Kilcooley of Vogue reports that Rihanna told MTV “It feels fantastic. It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour. I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just… it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless.”

RiRi also put Dior on the list of top fashion brands to follow this month on Instagram when her structured denim dress hit the web last week with over half a million new followers.

But don’t let the glamour girl fool you; ‘badgalriri’ is still a chart topping bombshell as “Bitch Better Have My Money” gave Rihanna her 23rd No. 1 dance hit, surpassing Beyoncé’s 22.

With chart topping numbers like these, it’s no wonder she’s worth $120 million.

Others celebs who made Elle’s best dressed this week are:
• Kristine Stewart
• Selena Gomez
• Zoe Saldana
• Kiernan Shipka
• Cara Delevingne
