ComiXology’s best feature is their large scale sales. ComiXology has become known for massive line-wide sales on popular titles from all publishers.
To celebrate the new addition of Dark Horse, ComiXology is running a massive bundle sale for some of the most popular titles to come to the service. Some of the books include Hellboy, Sin City, Fear Agent, Buffy, Alien, and many more.
These bundles can also help readers new to Dark Horse get acquainted with the range of books the company publishes. This is a nice introduction to the new working relationship, showing that Dark Horse is more than willing to take advantage of the sales that ComiXology is known for.
Users of Amazon’s Kindle service will recognize the books from the Kindle store. Comic Book Resources reported that it was actually all thanks to Amazon’s recent acquisition of ComiXology.
This allowed for a new deal to be struck to get the Dark Horse library onto ComiXology.
Readers should note that this doesn’t count for single issues currently on the comic stands. But that doesn’t take away from the sheer amount of books going up on the ComiXology service. Big names from all across Dark horse’s history are being put up.
As for when we will be seeing same day new issues from Dark Horse on the service, there is very little information available.
Considering new issues aren’t currently being released same day through the Kindle store, it seems safe to say that it could be a while before that happens.
