The Donatella Versace and Christian Dior shows bring a number of stars to Paris Fashion Week and this holiday weekend the red carpet was beaming with them.
Versace unveiled its Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2015/2016 collection with flowing gowns and flower headdresses, while Dior wowed guests with its 15/16 Fall/Winter collection theme “The Garden of Earthly Delights” couture show, set inside the Rodin Museum.
Among the stars was ‘Fast & Furious’ fashionista Michelle Rodriguez who appeared at the Versace show dressed in all black with a classic white leather Versace jacket and killer heels. She enjoyed the show from the front row and later posted a picture of the ensemble on Instagram, “mrodofficial@versace_Official thank you for having me and Congrats Donatella for another great show #Paris#HauteCouture.”
Rhonda Richford of Hollywood Reporter says that Michelle is a seasoned fashion fan as she states, “I’m loving this. I’m curious about the closets and the designers and the art. The more I can pop into shows and the more invites I get the more I can explore and the more I can learn.” It appears that she’s has been taking lots of notes as her Instagram is full of beautiful red carpet moments that display her love for designer fashion.
Reality show star turned model Kendall Jenner was the bell of the ball in a beautiful black plunging Versace gown featuring metallic material and floral lace. Jenner apparently adored the way she looked in the dress as she posted a picture of her backside from backstage at the show on Instagram and with over 964k likes, her fans adored it too.
Super model Naomi Campbell was looking fierce as usual in an open v-neck all white pants suit as she sat on the front row next to Irina Shayk dressed in a smiley face yellow mini dress and foxy black ankle strap heels a simple black clutch.
Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong’o was red hot at the Dior show in a cute and sassy mini dress by Dior’s creative director Raf Simons. She paired the dress with a black clutch, black pom-pom pumps and retro mirrored sunglasses; a look that went perfectly with her hourglass figure. Thomas Adamson of Associated Press says the actress was at a loss for words when she entered the show stating, “It’s really cool. It’s so incredible. I think I need to take a moment,” as she looked around from her seat next to U.S. Vogue Editor Anna Wintour.
Actress Emily Blunt was also at the Dior show wearing a very cool, white Dior gown that came down to her knees. She was also in awe of the elaborate show as she stated, “This is just extraordinary. This is kind of why I would walk from London to Paris to see this show. I’m so excited,” but maybe not in the black/white and teal houndstooth pumps that were matched nicely with her black clutch bag.
Other stars that also adored Fashion Week in Paris were actresses Kristen Stewart, Meg Ryan and Jessica Alba to name a few.
