What do Andy Grammer, ModCloth, Rachel Platten and Ludacris have in common? They will all be at the 2nd annual Fashion Meets Music Festival (FMMF) in Columbus, Ohio this Labor Day weekend.
Although the turnout from last year was a bit disappointing FMMF founder Bret Adams is feeling very optimistic about festival’s future telling The Columbus Dispatch, “I wouldn’t risk everything I’ve worked for my entire life if I didn’t believe in the potential. It’s going to have year 20.”
FMMF is a two-day, four-stage festival featuring a variety of the best acts in live music and featuring some of the most talented designers in the country.
The festival fuses two loves into one celebration elevating music and fashion into an experience featuring live performances, runway shows, local food, beverages, unique activations, and more.
Before heading to show off his moves on Dancing With The Stars, Andy Grammer is stopping by the new festival to heat up the Stella Stage with his hit “Honey I’m good”from his “Magazines and Novels” album.
Grammer’s new single “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” does not appear on his latest album but with over 77k Vevo views he’s sure to get the same awesome response he got at the Minnesota State Fair that’s on his Instagram page.
American online retailer ModCloth is planning on bringing its vast collection of unique fashion and decor tent side in Columbus while its first brick-and-mortar shop has opened for shoppers near San Francisco’s Union Square.
New Chief Executive Officer Matt Kaness is planning a large expansion for the retailer. Bloomberg reports that the brand racked in more than $150 million in revenue last year and Kaness says, “It’s not hard for me to see how we can double the business from here.”
With their sexy and comfortable Festival Clothing and Accessories line their tent will be the “it spot” for festival attendees to see this weekend.
In the middle of his patented LudaDay Weekend, Ludacris will hit the iHeartRadio Stage in “Beast Mode” on Saturday from 5:00PM to 6:00PM.
Then its off to the GSU Sports Arena to face Chris Brown in the celebrity basketball game. Team Luda is going to need the Ludaversal jet for his birthday weekend.
Rachel Platten will bring inspiration to the iHeartRadio Stage with a one hour set featuring her anthem hit “Fight Song” as she looks to add more entries to her Facebook tour diary videos to find out what fashionistas and music lovers in Ohio are fighting for.
All in all Columbus is in for a real treat as the labor of love for fashion and music continues this weekend.
