After years of writing for artists such as Meek Mill, Diddy, Christina Grimmie and Nicki Minaj, 27-year-old Miami-native Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis has started to break out on his own.
Signing with Columbia records, LunchMoney Lewis has made his way from an underground lyricist to a pop star on the rise. His first single, “Bills,” dropped in February, and has continued to be a hit on the international music charts, hitting No. 1 in Australia and No. 2 in the UK.
His new music video, “Whip It” is an infectiously catchy disco-fueled pop song, featuring singer Chloe Angelides.
Directed by Mimi Cave, “Whip It,” flashes back to ’70s with a modern spin on the classic television program, American Bandstand.
