The Houston Texans were getting run off the field by the Miami Dolphins this Sunday but things got even worse in the 4th quarter. Arian Foster split out to the left and was preparing to run a route in the red zone when he immediately went to the ground after putting his foot in the ground.
Foster isn’t the first running back to get hurt without getting hit at all. It was only a couple of weeks ago when Jamaal Charles suffered a non-contact injury and tore his ACL.
The Texans just broke the news and NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport confirmed it via twitter.

This is big for both the Houston Texans and fantasy owners alike, Foster is one of the top running backs in the game and is a huge part of the Texans offense. Unfortunately for the Texans, Arian Foster hasn’t been able to stay healthy his entire career.
What’s even worse about this injury is that it happened when the Texans were down more than 20 points in the fourth quarter. The Dolphins were up 41 at THE HALF and the Texans chose not to sit Foster. Both parties will be disappointed that this Achilles injury happened but hopefully Foster can recover and get back to full strength.
