The fantasy football season is beginning to heat up as we hit the final stretch before the fantasy playoffs. Which players gave your team a huge boost and helped carry the team to victory in Week 7? Let’s find out who made the list on this week’s edition of top fantasy football performances.
Lamar Miller- 14 carries, 175 yards, 1 TD and 3 catches, 61 yards, 1 TD= 35 fantasy points
After Joe Philbin was fired by the Dolphins, Lamar Miller came out and told everyone to expect big things in this new offense. It turns out Miller was not playing around and he lit up the Houston Texans for a career day. This 85 yard touchdown run pretty much sealed the deal to make it 42-0.

Next week, Lamar Miller might have a tougher time against the New England Patriots defense but that shouldn’t stop the Dolphins from feeding Miller the ball.
Tom Brady- 34/54, 355 yards, 2 TDs and 4 carries, 15 yards, 1 TD= 29 fantasy points
Tom Brady was in complete control against the New York Jets this past Sunday. The Patriots decided that they weren’t going to run the ball much which is why Brady threw 54 passes and was the team’s leading rusher. He even added an extra touchdown running a QB sneak which he has always had success with.

That was the touchdown pass that ended the game when the Jets decided to blitz Brady. The result was a wide-open Gronk scoring one the easier touchdowns he’ll ever get.
Next week, Tom Brady and the Patriots face a Dolphins defense that is hitting their stride. However, if Brady can handle the Jets defense, he should have no problem tearing up the Dolphins defense.
T.Y. Hilton- 4 catches, 150 yards, 2 TDs= 27 fantasy points
If you’re a T.Y. Hilton owner then you’re very happy that the Colts fell behind to the Saints early on Sunday. That usually means that an top receiver is bound to get some receptions in “garbage time” and that’s exactly what happened with Hilton.
Hilton caught two long touchdowns passes, one for 87 yards and one for 46 yards. While the Saints defense isn’t very good, T.Y. Hilton might not have as much luck against the Panthers and Broncos the next two weeks.
Jacksonville Jaguars- 31 points allowed, 2 INTs, 2 fumbles recovered, 4 sacks, 2 TDs= 22 fantasy points
The Jaguars defense finally made things easier for their offense against the Buffalo Bills across the pond. E.J. Manuel is now the only quarterback ever to lose games in three different countries which is laughable. The Jaguars almost let the Bills come back and win it in the end but the defense made plays when they needed to make them.
One of those plays was provided by Telvin Smith who intercepted Manuel and took it 26 yards to the house. The Jaguars are on a bye this week and they’ll have a tougher time the week after against the New York Jets.
Jordan Reed- 11 catches, 72 yards, 2 TDs= 19 fantasy points
Jordan Reed was coming off of a concussion that kept him out for a couple of weeks but he bounced back against the Buccaneers. Reed has proven to be a favorite target of Kirk Cousins and that was evident when the Redskins were trailing for most of the game.
This video features six of Reed’s catches including the game winning touchdown over the Bucs.

Reed is definitely a top 10 fantasy tight end right now but he’s only owned in 42% of ESPN leagues. He’s a guy that people should be looking to pick up with the position not having any real depth. The Redskins are on a bye this week but he’ll likely have a more difficult matchup against the New England Patriots the week after.
