The fantasy football postseason is approaching and it seems like most of the major NFL stars have finally started to get healthy. This week’s inactives list is probably the shortest ones we’ve seen all year.
Here are the players who have been ruled out before Sunday’s games.
DT Cory Redding (ankle, out); DT Frostee Rucker (ankle, out); WR Leonard Hankerson (hamstring, out); RB Devonta Freeman (concussion, out); DE Mario Williams (foot, out); CB Darqueze Dennard (shoulder, out); QB Peyton Manning(foot, out); LB DeMarcus Ware (back, out); WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle, out); QBAndrew Luck (abdomen, out); WR De’Anthony Thomas (concussion, out); WRJulian Edelman (foot, out); TE Larry Donnell (neck, out); CB Darrelle Revis(concussion, out); RB Marshawn Lynch (abdomen, out); RB Carlos Hyde (foot, out); RB Dexter McCluster (knee, out)
Here are the rest of big names of may or may not be playing in Week 12:
RB Charcandrick West (Hamstring, inactive):
Charcandrick West has admirably filled in for Jamaal Charles but unfortunately he won’t be available for the Chiefs this week. Spencer Ware proved last week that he has plenty of fantasy value in relief of West after he was injured.
However, the chances of Ware having a good performance against the Buffalo Bills defense is unlikely.
TE Travis Kelce (Groin, questionable):
Travis Kelce injured his ankle in practice on Friday but that won’t be enough to stop him from playing today against the Bills.
Kelce is a top 10 tight end but he still hasn’t been as productive as owners would like this season. It likely won’t get better for Kelce against a tough Bills defense this week.
WR Danny Amendola (Knee, inactive):
Danny Amendola will be unable to play tonight versus the Denver Broncos. Amendola hurt his knee last Monday night against the Bills and was a limited participant in practice all week.
He’s had plenty of injury issues and this week will be no different. With Amendola out, expect Brandon Lafell and Keyshawn Martin to get more looks.
WR Jarvis Landry (Knee, questionable):
Jarvis Landry is going to play against the New York Jets today. He showed enough throughout practice all week to be able to go despite the injury to his knee.
He only had four catches for 40 yards the last time he played the Jets but there’s a chance he could play well based on how the Jets secondary has done the last couple weeks.
WR Michael Floyd (Hamstring, questionable):
Michael Floyd was limited in practice all week but he is expected to play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Floyd has been a huge fantasy option the last couple of weeks but he isn’t going to be 100 percent healthy.
The Cardinals have plenty of options at wide receiver so Floyd will have boom or bust potential in Week 12.
