Stephen Curry went off again to help the Golden State Warriors clinch the first seed in NBA Western Conference playoffs.
Curry started early scoring 23 of his 42 points in the first 10 minutes against the Phoenix Suns.
At times, the Suns looked lost and helpless during their 120-111 defeat. In other points, the Suns looked somewhat sharp as they battled back in the fourth period.
It was all in vein.
With 5:01 left to play the Suns Tyler Ulis who notched 20 points overall, put up a jumper that pulled Phoenix within three points of the Warriors.
In typical fashion, Curry dismissed his foes with his signature 3-pointer that was followed by additional points by Klay Thompson who pitched in 22 for Golden State.
With the victory, the Warriors swept the season series from the Suns and register their 13-straight win.
The occasion also marked the third-straight season that Golden State has won at least 65 games.
