Did Zoe Saldana drop the Title for Avengers 4?

Actress Zoe Saldana may have let the complete title of the last Avengers film in the current phase of the MCU slip.

While speaking to Lizo Mzimba on the red carpet at the premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy, Saldana suffered from a sudden case of loose lips.

Why is a title so important?

If the title is indeed Avengers 4: Gauntlet or some variation thereof, Marvel fans have a pretty good idea not only what will happen in that film but in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity Wars.

Based off the sudden reveleation, its now known that the Infinity Stones and the gauntlets that house them will still remain in the picture throughout this act.

Thor’s father Odin houses the gauntlet for the right hand in his trophy room while the villain Thanos owns the one for the right hand.

At the moment, Odin’s death is shrouded in mystery and more details will be known after Thor: Ragnarok.

It is quite possible that Avengers: Infinity Wars will settle the dust regarding the fight for and the possession of the stones. Avengers 4 is the brawl over possession of the gauntlets and thus ultimate control of the most powerful forces in the universe.

It makes a lot of sense and provides a blueprint for the thinly-veiled closure that is obviously over the horizon.

It’s no secret that a lot of changes are coming to the MCU.  Key characters will die or move on and other that have been waiting in the wings will emerge into the spotlight.

There are plenty of theories that exist that are calling death scenes for both Iron Man and Captain America.

This is not solely based on expiring contracts.

There are new stories to be told and unless Marvel relents and properly shoots the “Demon in a Bottle” arc for the next solo Iron Man movie, there’s simply not a lot of meat left on some of these bones.

It’s time to move forward and based on what we already know, the next era will set the stage for some exciting new stories.
