Rihanna’s new beauty line is set to take off this Fall with a bang – though we’re still waiting for all of the fascinating details! The line was made “official” when it hit Instagram, instantly bringing in tens of thousands of followers as it announced “the new generation of beauty.” With Rihanna pulling the reigns, we know that, whatever it is, it’s going to be great when it finally launches in Fall 2017. What we do know so far is that the first release from the brand will be a holographic lip product, according to Harper’s Bazaar. This became news after it was spotted being used backstage at the Fenty x Puma Spring 2017 Runway Show.
We also know that the Fenty Beauty line first emerged because of a partnership with LVMH’s Kendo Division all the way back in 2016, when they decided to bring new elements in beauty in Rihanna’s name and visions. Kendo’s CEO has spoken about the line: “Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a vast and diverse global audience.” Even back in 2016, Kendo was more than excited to be working with Rihanna, who has experience working with MAC Cosmetics as well as many other famous leaders in beauty lines.
This excellent news comes after Rihanna’s jaw-dropping fashion show entitled “Back to School” in March for Paris Fashion Week. Her entire show was inspired by school girls, and she even invited everybody to formally attend with an invitation that looked like a detention card. Rihanna has had us on the edge of our seats for months now, and we truly can’t wait to see what she has in store for us!
