The British rock band Royal Blood is back with their newest album, How Did We Get So Dark? Royal Blood made their break into the music scene in 2014 with their self-titled album, Royal Blood.
Their success was instantaneous. They quickly hit #1 in the UK and debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 Chart in the U.S. After enjoying the success of their first album, which included performing on Howard Stern and touring with the Foo Fighters, they returned to the studio to create their much anticipated second album. How Did We Get So Dark? is set to be released June 16th through Warner Brother Records.
The album will be released through digital, CD, and Vinyl formats. Along with the release of their new album, the band will be hitting the road to tour through June, July, and August. Tickets for the tour are on sale now, with their D.C., Philadelphia, Detroit and Vancouver shows are already sold out.
They will be performing at several festivals this summer including Glastonbury, Eden Sessions, and Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival. The band will also be performing on Late Night with Seth Meyers on June 8th.
Music videos for the songs “Lights Out” and “Hook, Line, and Sinker” have already been released. ‘Lights Out’ has gained over three million views on Youtube, further proving the music world’s anticipation for the new album. Royal Blood has reached tremendous levels of success early on in their career.
