Black Panther: Trailer To Drop During NBA Finals

The MCU just got regal.

Hail to the King as Chad Boswick will return to his role of T’Challa leader of the great African Nation Wakanda in the Marvel Studios solo film Black Panther. Production has begun for the film and looks to match its predecessors in phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Black Panther’s history began in 1966 when Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created him. He made his first appearance in Fantastic Four #52. Black Panther has continued to be the great protector of his nation leaping into action from one panel to the next. He is also an ally to some of the most powerful people in all of Marvel such as The Avengers, and The Fantastic Four.

Black Panther made his cinematic presence known as he clawed his way across theaters last year in Captain America: Civil War. While facing off against earth’s mightiest heroes, Black Panther breathed new life with a dynamic look and attitude as he displayed tremendous skill and abilities that astonished the comic book community and fans worldwide.

T’Challa will once more don the traditional suit and mask infused with the most prominent mineral known to man, Vibranium. The film is set to release early next year in February 2018. Journey into the rich culture of Africa as the King of Wakanda will face new threats against his home as old and new enemies come forth to threaten his ancestral lands.

Ryan Coogler (Creed,  Fruitvale Station) is directing the effort. BP’s cast is strong and includes Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, and Andy Serkis.

The teaser will release during Game 4 of the 2017 NBA Finals. The planet will witness the panther’s might once more from one of Marvel Comics most beloved characters.
