Atlanta rapper Future is taking his melodic thuging back on the tour trail. As he continues to revel in the success of his back-to-back number one albums Future and HNDRXX, the narcotic wordsmith has booked a few U.K. dates for the fall.
If his form is as true as it was in the past when he spoke with NPR, British fans will get the benefit of a planned presentation that will engage them from start to finish.
“Yep, we’re doing, with my stage show, being more involved with the stage, give the people a real show, you know what I’m saying? Everybody want to see that show now,” he stated.
“Instead of just coming out on the stage, jumping around, you gotta get that theme and that sequence to the album — make the show feel like the album. Yeah, the lighting gotta be crazy. I want the lighting to represent every song, you know what I’m saying — the way the lights flash, whether they on or off or dim. Gotta make a great light show, man.”
Since that interview a couple of years ago, Future has earned his stripes as a seasoned performer. These arena dates could end up being the final gut punch to those that question his status in the rap game.
