Lil Wayne and Future are officially set to headline the second annual Mala Luna Music Festival. Fans can head down to San Antonio, Texas the weekend of October 28th for the perfect Halloween weekend outing.
Other artists expected to perform are Wiz Khalifa and Migos along with EDM sensations Afrojack, Carnage and Borgore. Fans of hip hop, R&B and EDM have much to look forward to.
This second show follows last summer’s debut. Travis Scott and Kaskade headlined with G-Eazy at Lone Star Brewery.
This year moves the show to the Nelson Wolf Stadium to accommodate the anticipated crowd. Food vendors, local illustrators and merchants will also be in appearance.
Mala Luna is more than just a music festival. It’s a chance to give back to the community of arts. A percentage of the proceeds from the tickets and merchandise sold will go to the Network for Young Artists foundation. The money will help the local non-profit to be able to put out affordable classes in dance, voice, percussion, guitar and keyboard.
The classes are for anyone four to-twenty that have a passion for music, art and entertainment. This year’s show will feature performances by local student artists Rayne and Isabella Rodriguez as well.
By music festival standards the tickets are also reasonably priced. A two day general admission pass is $149 and the Fly Me to the Moon VIP two day pass goes for $399. The amenities for the use of the bar and clean restrooms for the VIP pass alone may be worth the extra spending.
Tickets are on sale now.
