Jeezy, a.k.a. Young Jeezy, Lil’ J, and Da Snowman, has sold more than five million records across his eight album career.
In 2016, his album Trap or Die 3 was his third No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Since 2005’s Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 all of Jeezy’s LPs have reached the top 10. This kind of success makes Jeezy a highly sought after artist.
His accomplishments, however, are not limited to music. Jeezy was a very successful businessman before he got into music.
Last year, he was honored by Forbes for his accomplishments in rap, philanthropy and his business acumen, which has brought Jeezy a multitude of successful ventures from clothing lines, liquor partnerships, real estate and record labels.
UTA signing Jeezy further shows their push to gain more ground in hip-hop. Billboard reported earlier this year that Pusha T, Desiigner and Tyga had joined UTA for representation throughout the United States and select global areas.
UTA is the world’s largest independent music agency, also representing artists such DJ Khaled and G-Eazy.
