She began modeling for popular, high-end brands before she gradually made her way into acting for major films, Cara Delevingne isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The British model is now adding singing to her list of talents and this might be the start to a possible singing career, as well.
Along with singer and songwriter Rihanna and actor Dan DeHann, the 24-year-old starred in the newest sci-fi fantasy film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, playing space warrior Laureline. The film’s soundtrack features songs by David Bowie, Bob Marley, Alexandre Desplat, Charles Bradley and also a song sung by the model herself.
Delevingne’s “I Feel Everything,” is a catchy, mellow-vibe tune that definitely shows off her skillful vocal skills. Not only has she surprised us with her own single, but her singing is very gentle and melodic. The song gives off a dreamy energy and seems is fitting to the film’s similar aesthetic.
In the song, Delevinge croons,
”Your stare makes me freeze but I can’t stay still / Those eyes keep me up longer than any other pill / And I know, being together / We feel like forever / and now, more than ever I feel everything.”
I can’t help but say these lyrics are giving us some type of feeling.
While the lyrics sound pleasing with a smooth beat, it perfectly matches Delevingne’s soft, seductive singing,
“Never thought I’d fall like this / I’ve jumped right into this eternal bliss / and I know being together we feel like forever / and now, more than ever I feel everything.”
