Uniqlo X J.W. Anderson Fall/Winter 2017 Collection Drops In Late September

A collection so fitting for the upcoming seasons.

Uniqlo has always been a casual-wear clothing retailer for men, women and children. Their pieces are straight and simple, which makes them many of our favorite place to shop for clothing necessities. However, the collaboration they recently did involved unique clothing styles and a whole lot of colors.

The Japanese fashion retailer collaborated with fashion designer J.W. Anderson on their fall/winter 2017 collection. Uniqlo announced its collaboration earlier this spring with the British designer.

According to their website, the collection was inspired by the British heritage garments. Anderson is seen as one of London’s most innovative and forward-thinking designers, and working with Uniqlo’s Life Wear, brings this timeless collection that reflects core values of thoughtfulness, quality and excellence in material and functionality.

This collaboration arrived at the perfect time for planning your fall wardrobe, and a few of the pieces are available to take a small peek at. Pieces from the collection features tartan, trenches, cable-knit sweaters and many more. The 33-piece collection focuses on the simplicity of classic British style.

Here are a few of the styles that we’re all super excited for. Their rainbow-striped sweater (Anderson’s well-known design) has been the biggest attention grabber in this collection. The red, blue, yellow, green and black sweater gives the fall season a lot more color. Their bold trench coats are statement pieces with a touch of plaid at the end of the sleeves. Let’s not ignore their coats— bold in colors red and navy.

The Uniqlo and J.W. Anderson collaboration doesn’t launch until Sept. 21 in stores and on their website. The collection is certainly seen as both timeless and wearable — pieces that your wardrobe needs this fall and throughout winter.
