A debate on thrash pioneers Metallica’s finest moments will undoubtedly center on their landmark LP Master of Puppets.
The LP definition of the perfect album, Master of Puppets was the last record made with late bassist Cliff Burton whose jazzy-yet-aggressive fingerprints are all over the recording.
The title track, “Battery” and “Disposable Heroes” are a few of the pinnacles that helped catapult the Bay Area band into arena status.
On November 10th, the quartet will roll out a remastered edition of the record that features expanded and deluxe editions that host packaging that has to be seen to be believed.
The reissue is available for pre-order at www.metallica.com. According to a press release issued to Salute, there are immediate benefits to digging deep into one’s pockets.
“Those who pre-order the standard album will receive an instant download of “Disposable Heroes (Remastered),” the statement reads.
“Those who pre-order the expanded or deluxe editions will receive an instant download of “Disposable Heroes (Remastered)” and “The Thing That Should Not Be (Live at the Aragon Ballroom, Chicago, IL – May 25th, 1986).”
