Love & Hip Hop Atlanta fan favorite couple, Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera, are reportedly getting their own spin-off show. The show is being called Meet The Flockas.
Waka himself has confirmed the news. The two will participate in a reality show that showcases their real lives. It’s not the drama that we normally expect from LHHATL cast members, but, it does promise to be interesting Waka credits LHH creator, Mona Scott Young, for helping them snag this gig. However, he and Tammy will have control over what will be displayed on the show.
Though Waka is a popular rapper, he and his wife Tammy were introduced to the world on LHHATL‘s third season. In the beginning, the presented a strong relationship that was drama-free. However, their marriage suffered after cheating allegations caused the two to split. Now the two are back together and say that they’re strong than ever. They’ve sat in interviews together discussing the status of their relationship and everything that almost caused them to go their separates ways.
The couple has been married since 2014 and is raising a daughter together. Their daughter Charlie is a child from one of Tammy’s previous relationships, however, Waka has always claimed her as his child too. Through LHHATL, fans got a chance to see the couple’s relationship fall apart and watched as the two came back together.
Waka, officially known as Waka Flocka Flame, gained fame in 2009 after his hit single “O Let’s Do It.” Year’s later he would participate in a major “beef” between himself and his former mentor Gucci Mane. He is also the son of music mogul Deb Antney, who is also Gucci’s former manager. Also, his brother Brandon Barnes is a cast member of WE tv‘s Growing Up Hip Hop. While Tammy is a designer and wardrobe stylist who has recently started recording as a singer.
