This Fall, white boots are all the rage both on the streets and on the runways. This trend might seem a little odd as it reminds us of 1960’s mod gogo boots. However, there is no denying that they’re back in style so you might as well jump on the train and channel your inner Ariana Grande.
According to our street style research, it seems the best way to wear white boots is with an outfit void of the color. Camila had the same idea by pairing her white shoes with blue jeans, a gray turtleneck, burgundy purse, and blue, burgundy, and white printed coat. Once again, white shoes are used to bring in a small print not an overpowering color.
PopSugar Australian street style featured these two fashionistas on the run. Both wore white on only their feet and kept the rest of their outfits somewhat simple (except for that amazing bright pink Moncler ofcourse).
The trick to wearing white boots without looking kitschy is making sure you let the boots do the talking. Try pairing them with jeans, a plain white t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. Or you can try adding white boots with a printed dress that minimally incorporates the color.
Most importantly, have fun with it! Experiment and find what you feel most confident in.
