Rag & Bone’s designer Marcus Wainwright has been an avid “Star Wars” fan since he was a child, collecting figurines and memorabilia. Wainwright is now getting in on the action and using his talent as a designer to help promote the “Star Wars” franchise.
Rag & Bone will be releasing a Star Wars inspired capsule collection in honor of the December 15th release of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
Wainwright commented on the collection saying, “I’ve always been a massive ‘Star Wars’ fan personally, and I’m fairly close to the guys at Lucasfilm and Disney for various reasons, and we shot Mark Hamill (who plays Luke Skywalker in the movie) for our Men’s Project last year. It just felt like it would be a fun thing to do.”

The collection features clothing for both men and women. Rag & Bone managed to capture the essence of “Star Wars” throughout the collection, while also sticking to Rag & Bone’s signature, minimalistic style.
Wainwright said, “They’re very wearable clothes. I think the ‘Star Wars’ fans will obviously like them. The Rag & Bone customer will really like them. The key to the collaboration was to do something that our customers, who might not be ‘Star Wars’ fans, would happily wear.” (WWD)
The Rag & Bone capsule collection will launch on December 1st in select stores and online at rag-bone.com and will be priced from $95 to $1,295. Various pieces will also be available on the shopdisney.com website.
