Rock With It

Jeezy is coming through with heat again.

As Jeezy prepares to release his eighth LP on December 15, the Georgia product is showcasing key pieces off Pressure.

This week he appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to deliver his latest gem “Like Them” which features the vocal stylings of features Tory Lanez and Rick Ross.

The thoughtful mid-tempo has a nice thump to it and the snowman once again renders a strong narrative.

His strongpoint is delivering fly-on-the-wall access to conversations that the listener probably should not be made privy to.

Whether he’s bragging or telling someone about themselves,  Jeezy makes it easy to buy into what he’s saying.

With a trunkload full of mixtapes, collaborative efforts and street albums on his resume, it’s time to deem him a master of his craft.

The video of the performance showcases Jeezy in rockstar mode even without Ross’ verse on display.

Rolling with a band, the performance below is air tight.

As for Pressure, its home to a slew of guests according to the record’s advance track list.

Puff Daddy, 2 Chainz, Kodak Black and Tea Grizzley dot the LP’s landscape.

However, the Salute offices are the most hyped about the J.Cole, Jeezy and Kendrick Lamar anthem “American Dream” which promises to be one of the most important moments of the year.

Jeezy has grown beyond the trappings of a lyrical menace killing eerie beats. We will visit that on Friday when the official review for Pressure drops.
