Warner Bros. and DC are teaming up for the live action series Titans that will be a benchmark show for their streaming network.

On Friday, Warner Bros. dropped the new-wave look of Dove and Hawk that are simply crazy. The sleek costumes reflect a choice of bold colors that don’t go too over-the-top.

Costume designer Laura Jean Shannon (Iron Man) put together the upgraded outfits that could have been garish.

Instead she rolled with looks that were clean and fitted.

Uniform to the same vibe that was released for Dick Grayson’s/Robin’s suit earlier this year, the advance buzz is that Titans could be one of if not the strongest DC-themed TV show.

Netflix fans that are prone to watching sports shows will remember Alan Ritchson from the football comedy Blue Mountain State.  He stars in Titans as Hawk/Hank Hall.

Another gridiron alumnus Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) is set to portray Dove/Dawn Granger.

Other characters on the show that is loosely based around the Teen Titans concept include Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy.

Before being green-lit for DC’s streaming platform, the show was in development at TNT for nearly two years.

As Titans draws closer to its 2018 debut, look for additional looks from the other characters to be revealed.

With the next installment of the Young Justice franchise also set to bow on the streaming platform, it will be interesting to see just how the creatives play their cards.

After all, there is a lot of crossover characters and sentiments that are shared between the two series.

One is live action and the other is animated but beyond that there has to a trick to how they plan to avoid repetition.
