Steph Curry Torches Clippers For 45 in Blowout Win

Looks like the Clippers are the Clippers again, at least when Steph Curry‘s around. Back from injury just a few games ago, Curry hasn’t missed a beat. In just three quarters of play, he dropped a season-high 45 points on the Clippers to continue a rough season for Los Angeles.

Despite the win and Curry’s high point total, the Warriors played pretty sloppy basketball:

“Other than Steph’s performance, it was a pretty bad basketball game all the way around,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “… There wasn’t much energy in the building.”

If that’s bad basketball, then the Clippers must have just been asleep. Star forward Blake Griffin exited the game with a concussion after running into Javale McGee‘s elbow, yet another injury for the banged up Clippers.

The game wasn’t pretty to watch overall with the teams combining to shoot 78-185. It was a good demonstration of the state of the Western Conference, where the Clippers continue to rise while Team Cupcake in Oakland is staying hot.
