It appears that rapper, Kanye West is once again nitpicking his wife, Kim Kardashian’s sense of style. It’s not appalling to say the least.
Everybody who is familiar with the high-profile couple knows that West has always been blunt when it comes to fashion. Even if that meant using technology as a tool of acknowledging his intentions.
Yet just when we thought 90’s tiny specs were a thing of the past, West makes it trendy again.
The craze of dropping over-sized-sunglasses and swapping them for teeny tiny “Matrix” inspired frames was all his idea.
The controversy all started in the latest episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” when Kim K voiced her opinion on her current choices on shades.
“[Kanye] sent me a whole email like, ‘You cannot wear big glasses anymore. It’s all about tiny little glasses,” She Said.”He sent me like, millions of ’90s photos with tiny little glasses like this.”
Of course, the Kardashian sisters indulged in the memo. Though, Kim K wasn’t quick to hop on the bandwagon, she quickly changed her mind.
Strutting a black bodysuit with a leather-mini skirt and a pair of tiny black sunnies to match in the public eye. The entire outfit, said to be handpicked by West himself.
Looking back on past interviews revolving around the pair, it’s obvious that Kim K trusts her husband’s opinions when it comes to style. In an older episode of KUWTK, The Yeezy designer invites his stylist over to help rummage out Kim’s entire closet.
“Kanye has definitely inspired me to be a little bit more of an individual” Said Kim K in the episode. “I think my style is just evolving and changing and I think it should because that’s what life is about. He’s a fashion designer and he loves clothes so I’m excited to collaborate with him and see what his take on fashion is.”
At times, West even helps style the other Kardashian sisters. The trendsetter even got the word out to other popular stars such as Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and Bella Hadid. All seen sporting the tiny spectacles and keeping 90’s fashion alive.
