YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been a pretty busy fellow since he was released in 2017 from prison on a suspended 10 year sentence for aggravated assault with a firearm.
Announced on his Instagram, on March 2 YoungBoy is going to release his first full length studio album Until Death Call My Name.
The LP will have 13 songs, two which are previously released ones “Solar Eclipse” and “Outside Today”.
“Outside Today” has been given a video with a cameo from Birdman and a shoutout to Kevin Gates.
To get some excitement brewing for the new LP though, YoungBoy released a brand new single from it titled “Love is Poison” (which can be listened to below).
When asked about the album’s title, YoungBoy explains that it represents his outlook on life, saying:
“I just want to strive to be the best man I can be. I want to spend as much time with my children and family as I can. I want to keep working on all of this music every day. I just want to go as hard as I can until death calls my name.”
The 18 year old Baton Rouge based rapper up to this point in his career has put out multiple successful mix tapes, two of which titled Ain’t Too Long and AI YoungBoy were dropped following his release from prison in 2017. A feat that very few other musicians his age (or even very many older ones for that matter) are able to put on their resumes.
Until now though, YoungBoy had yet to venture into making a full length album.
By pre-ordering Until Death Call My Name, both “Solar Eclipse” and “Outside Today” will be given to the buyer as instant gratification rewards.
