Recording artist Moby is no stranger to posting about and getting involved in current political events. Last year on his Instagram he posted some impacting information supposedly from friends at the CIA about President Donald Trump colluding with Russia and other government related things that were not meant to be out in the open.
While many people are reasonably skeptical about what Moby has to say, some of the predictions and claims turned out to be true.
Now, Moby is back again with a new story that the CIA agents asked him to stop Trump, claiming the president is a Russian agent and that they want him to stop Trump.
In an interview with Louisville, KY radio station WFPK Moby talks about his alleged CIA friends asking him to spread the word about the Fusion GPS dossier due to his vast social media influence, saying:
They were like, ‘This is the Manchurian Candidate, like [Putin] has a Russian agent as the President of the United States. So they passed on some information to me and they said, like, ‘Look, you have more of a social media following than any of us do, can you please post some of these things just in a way that … sort of put it out there.’
If there is actually any truth to this and the CIA really did want to get information out to the public and widespread though, Moby might not have been the best choice.
According to Moby’s Instagram account he only has a grand total of 244k followers.
While this is a fairly sizable amount of followers, it is nowhere near the size of what other higher profile celebrities who would more than likely have a deeper impact and a wider audience for such messages have.
