It seems the talented always go before their time. Chicago rapper Fredo Santana has died at the age of 27. The Fredo, the cousin of west coast rapper Chief Keef, was reported dead Friday night of a seizure.
Fredo is best known for his mixtape It’s a Scary Sight, album Trappin Ain’t Dead, and his feature on Kendrick Lamar‘s Jealous.
There has been no official statement made by his family as of yet, but the outpouring from the music community has already started. Drake, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, Lil Durk, Lil B, and others have all taken to social media to send out their prayers for Fredo and his family.

Fredo had a lot to celebrate over the last year with the birth of his son in June, and the release of his last album Fredo Kruger 2 in September. There has been no statement made by the family, but this sad news is sure to be hitting them hard. Condolences go out to the Santana family at this difficult time.
