Ever since former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert joined the prestigious ranks of Queen back in 2012 the entire globe has been incredibly receptive to the new line-up and keeps coming back for more.
This is quite clearly evident in that the band has added some additional tour dates to their UK and Europe tour because of what a rousing success it has been.
The announcement of the new tour dates was made this morning via a press release on their official website. The statement talks about how successful and fun the tour has been since it kicked off this past November and that it would be fun to have ‘one more go around the block’.
Guitarist and co-founder Brian May was none too shy to express his excitement over the additional dates, saying:
“The almost unanimous reaction to our last round of dates in Europe was this is absolutely the best production we’ve ever mounted. There has been a great demand for us to go back and cover the cities we missed! So, while we’re still physically able to perform at those high energy levels on this massive scale, we thought… ‘YES !! One more around the block!’ It’s live, it’s dangerous, and it takes every ounce of fitness we can muster. But it’s still fun!“
Singer Adam Lambert adds his own excitement, saying:
“I enjoyed every second of the recent European tour and really felt the love in every city. I can’t wait for us to get back there again in the spring!”
