While still in the tenth spot in the West, the Utah Jazz are showing a glimpse of luck over the last few weeks. Last night they showed great resilience with a fourth-quarter comeback against the San Antonio Spurs for a 101-99 victory. They have now won ten straight games, including a thirty-point blowout against Golden State and a road win against Toronto. Rookie phenom Donovan Mitchell led the way with 25 points:
“You can’t think about the misses, that’s the biggest thing,” Mitchell told reporters. “I was continuing to stay locked in and just stay focused and understand the shots eventually were going to fall. Fortunately, they did.”
The Spurs are still third in the West but continue to struggle on the road with a 13-17 road record.
