On February 10, Oxford Fashion Studio brought eleven emerging fashion designers from all over the world to New York City to unveil their runway collections at Studio 450 for NYFW. This was a huge and exciting opportunity for the designers who are looking to make a name for themselves in the competitive industry.
Hundreds of industry members filled the penthouse space and mingled while glasses of prosecco bubbled and the Manhattan skyline served as the perfect backdrop.
One featured designer was Rachel Pollack of Rachel Pollack Designs who travelled from Overland Park, Kansas. Pollack’s collection classic and modern, catering to strong, sophisticated, and elegant women with a love for mixing colors and prints.
Pollack’s feminine collection featured floral embroidery on each ensemble, either on the bodice, sleeves, or pant legs. The embroidery consisted of green vines and bright pink flowers. Models wore fur cuffs on their wrists, adding a modern element to an otherwise classic collection.
