The iconic designer Ralph Lauren created a lavish coed collection that takes you on a Caribbean retreat inspired by the island of Jamaica.

The show was kicked off by barefoot models walking on an ocean blue runway, sporting blue and white carefree, floral dresses that screamed luxurious, island vacation.

The clothes screamed nautical with simple, airy silhouettes in crisp cotton whites and silky blue hues that were perfectly paired together with bold shades of green and yellow as a tribute to the Jamaican flag. There was an element of pattern seen throughout the range in feminine floral prints, bold pinstripes and hints of tie-dye.

The clean, crisp silhouettes continued throughout the men’s assembly, with ultra-nautical Bermuda shorts and double-breasted blazers that were adorned with golden buttons in creamy pastel blues and vivid white with hints of yellow. Additionally, the men’s range had a touch of red that played well with the nautical vibes the designs offered.

In true Ralph Lauren fashion, the collection offered classic, predictable designs with lightweight suits for men and women in creamy whites, and ocean blues paired with hints of vivid reds and bright yellow. Likewise, the range offered elegant options in daring, vivid tones for evenings on a yacht or the red carpet.

“Everyone wishes for a magical place where they can step out of time and into the beauty of nature. I wanted to share the mood, the light, the blue and white freshness of my retreat in Jamaica. My collections for women and men conjure up the carefree, sophisticated style of this special experience — exuberant, luxurious, timeless!” ” Lauren shared ,about his latest designs.
