Joey Badass to hit the road with Amerikkkana tour

Joey Badass takes it on the road

Joey Bada$$ is coming to a city near you.

On February 9th, the Brooklyn rapper sent out a simple tweet.

This sent fans into a tizzy. They sent tweets back with screams of excitement and were already requesting songs before they were even provided with any information. Thankfully, his support act Boogie sent out a more helpful tweet.

Joey Badass and Boogie will be teaming up with California rapper Buddy for a North American tour. The tour starts in Boston on April 17th and will travel across the continent and end May 26th in Montreal.

The tour is likely is means of building buzz around an upcoming project as Bada$$ has spent the first month and a half of 2018 releasing new music. He released “Thugz Cry” which Billboard calls “a lofty ode to Prince’s ‘When Doves Cry'” and “80 Blocks” with Pro Era member Chuck Strangers.

The new music and tour are just two of the many projects Joey Bada$$ is involved in. He has spent the last week making the rounds during NYFW and launched a pop up for his capsule collection with EL BRAVADO. He was also named as part of Coach’s class of 2018; a group that Women’s Wear Daily describes as “a group of creatives the brand feels has their fingers on the pulse of culture.”

It seems that Joey Bada$$ has quite a bit on his plate so early on in 2018, but the tour will provide a space to showcase all of the hard work he’s been putting in with his music and is sure to wow fans across North America. The rapper intends on releasing more dates soon. Tickets and VIP packages can be purchased for the Amerikkkana tour with Boogie and Buddy here.
