Nicopanda presented their energetic Fall/Winter 2018 collection, debuting multiple streetwear pieces with vibrant colors. Directed by Nicola Formichetti, the brand created a show-stopping, eclectic range.
Featuring an interesting choice of soundtrack, the collection was unveiled with a remix of musicals from Nirvana to Lil Kim. From fun stripes and cozy hoodies, Formichetti wasn’t afraid to combine plaids with highlight hues as bold as neon pink and green. The line consisted of joggers with matching sweatshirts, Scottish prints and heavy make-up to contrast the spirited hues.
Formichetti also styled the models with various stylish beanies, splayed with expressive words. The fun continued with neon sunglasses and a bright pink two-piece, with large gold jewelry.
Additionally, the brand debuted graphic t-shirts that were inspired by Nirvana’s logo in yellow font. Reflecting the soundtrack in the background, the shirts were paired with pink wigs along with leggings that contained the logo repetitively.
The Italian-Japanese designer proved the ability to express oneself’s individuality in the true meaning of fashion. With much of his inspirations, the ready-to-wear pieces prove his passion for creativity.
