Post Malone to go “Psycho” on new single with Ty Dolla Sign

Getting crazy

Post Malone is about to go crazy.

Post Malone is ready to let his new single loose. He announced his newest single with Ty Dolla Sign via Twitter.

The tweet, which Ty Dolla Sign retweeted, features a snippet of the song that’s due out Friday. From the clip, it feels as if the song is a slower one, but has a nice beat. The lyrics can be interpreted differently. It may focus heavily on his generosity, or like this lyric showcases, it could be about not being able to trust anyone around him.

It’s a shift from his hit “Rockstar” which sounds like every frat party incarnate. It sounds much more relaxed and his vocals actually shine, even on a small snippet. It’s almost as if Malone wanted to release two entirely different songs back to back in perhaps an effort to show that the upcoming album isn’t all one note as he explained to Billboard late last year.

“I think it’s going to be more eclectic than Stoney. I think it’s going to be a big record with a lot of unique music, that a lot of people would expect.”

This is the second track that he will be releasing from his sophomore album Beer Bongs & Bentley’s. The album was originally slated for a December 2017 release, but has been pushed back until an undetermined date sometime this year.

Post Malone did however announce his next tour which is set to begin April 26th in Portland and will go all the way through June 24th in San Francisco. He’s brining along 21 Savage and SOB x RBE as supporting acts. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday February 23rd via Live Nation at 10 am local time. “Psycho” drops on the same day.
