Women sneaker lovers are just as passionate about hot new launches as men, but they are still being underserved by many large athletic footwear companies. After servicing athletic women for over 40 years, Nike is looking to change the way women are being served by creating a revolutionary new concept called- Unlaced.
According to their website, Unlaced was described as a “global digital and retail concept that follows a Nike dot-com evolution in Europe, which provided distinction for women through product styling and local curators. (In North America, the Nike x Nordstrom sneaker boutique retail and digital experience, co-created with Olivia Kim, also served as a precursor.) Local Nike Unlaced product curations by influential creatives and stylists from New York, Paris, London, Shanghai and more are coming soon.”
The new project is set to launch on March 27th online and will be seen in stores through the summer. Nike Unlaced will be built into global locations and have a space dedicated to it on the Nike website.
Women can now rejoice and celebrate Nike making headway and space for women to showcase their personality through sneakers they know and love.
