This collection marks Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s second range with Chloé and she did not disappoint. The creative director brought the heat to Paris Fashion Week with Chloé latest Fall/Winter 2018 RTW collection.
The show took place in a minimalist arena, allowing the designs to speak for themselves. There was a calming effect in the air that can only, be interpreted as charm. Likewise, the audience was filled with attendees that couldn’t wait to see what Ramsay-Levi had come up with this time.
The series consisted of sharp silhouettes in earthy hues that had the classic boho feel the brand is well-known for. Featuring patterned large collars peaking over blazers as well as sweaters, shades of brown layered on top of one another, patterned pants had a 70s vibe and low V necklines that reached down to the navel.
The Western trend remained true to the brand featuring silky cowboy shirts in muted shades of brown, honey mustard, and burgundy that were perfectly paired with oversized riding pants. High-waist and wide legged jeans got a modern upgrade of zipper detailing that sat low on the hips.
Additionally, there was a large quantity of dresses that stole the show. Dresses were seen in slinky and sexy outlines showcasing feminine lace paneling, peekaboo sheer material and skin-revealing side panels were strategically placed together.
Two seasons in Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s showcased her ability to create a relaxed collection that spoke to the masses while still having pieces that felt luxe and put together.
