Watch: Lorde covers Frank Ocean’s ‘Solo’

Never not full of surprises.

Lorde is full of surprises during Milwaukee tour…

Now that New Zealand singer Lorde is finally back on the road, she is stirring up the crowds with her courageous moves.

In the midst of embarking on her Milwaukee tour, she surprised fans by performing a cover of Frank Ocean‘s jazzy tune “Solo,” followed by an unreleased Melodrama song on Thursday night at BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Both moments were captured by Twitter user @pietlevy and posted to his feed in order to share both of the surprises.

Catching almost all of the fans off guard, they were pleasantly pleased by the unforeseen deliverance, proving that the pop star is nothing short of an artist with a knack to perform in a variety of ways.

This isn’t the first time the 21-year-old star startled the audience with an unexpected surprise.

In fact, she pulled off the same tactic while touring in Australia by belting out a classic rendition of  Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”

Holding onto the award-winning title for Best international Female Solo Artist, which she respectively earned back in Feb at the BRIT Awards, Lorde is starting to become seriously formiddable competition in the music industry.

The Zealand native is also touring alongside hip-hop duo Run the Jewels, in which she recently dropped a remix of her track “Supercut,” off her sophomore album Melodrama featuring the pair.

Lorde will be continuing to tour through the United States until April 14, after which she will make a trek over to Europe to play a long slew of shows in the UK, Portugal, Spain, Russia, and then ending July 20 in Indonesia.

Tickets to the upcoming tour dates can be found and purchased here.

Keep up with music at Salute.
